Our 10-year-old son loves studying Mandarin at Wall Street Chinese. After the grammar portion of the lesson, he listens to stories and discusses them with Ms. Liu, all in Mandarin. He watches films in Mandarin and learns jokes. After all that hard work, he relaxes with a paintbrush and ink, and copies Chinese poems in beautiful calligraphy. Ms. Liu is always offering new challenges and will soon engage him in discussions of science, technology, and Chinese history. We are so excited about his progress and his renewed interest in China and Chinese, and can’t wait to enroll our younger son next fall.
